Andrea Stephens

I have been a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor for over 10 years. I began coaching in October 2013 and it has been an amazing journey so far!

Fitness has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I grew up dancing and doing gymnastics, and eventually even taught dance and gymnastics classes for children. In college, I began exercising regularly and watching what I ate more because I had become very unhealthy. It started out great, but quickly became an obsession for me.

Over the years, I’ve tried literally every “diet” out there. I overtrained my body in the gym and under ate for many, many years. My metabolism was destroyed, my hormones were out of whack, and even though I felt like I was doing all of the right things, I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted, especially after having my 4th child. It wasn’t until I began researching true FAT LOSS, over weight loss, that I realized I was doing everything wrong. I began counting macros, lifting heavy weights, doing less cardio, and cycling my carbohydrate intake, and the results were amazing. I feel better than I ever have, and more importantly, I have finally found peace with food. I have found that now that I truly understand nutrition and the processes that go on in my body when I eat food, it’s changed everything for me, and I’m fascinated by it! I love to teach others how to break the bad cycle they often find themselves in, and I truly practice what I preach!
